Terms of use
Last updated 7 October 2026
Neyaba helps residents in Egypt run their unit and plan their training. These terms are short on purpose. By signing in you agree to them.
Using the ward board? Read the data guidance first.
Data guidance — what to keep off the board
- Use initials, age, sex and diagnosis. That is all the ward board needs. Neyaba has no fields for names, national ID numbers or phone numbers, so don't type them into the diagnosis, plan, history, imaging or notes boxes.
- Keep faces, ID cards and names out of anything you add, including photos, imaging, receipts and files.
- When you share a handover or an OR list on WhatsApp, share it only with people who need it. It carries bed numbers and initials, nothing more.
- Your hospital's policy comes first. If your hospital does not allow patient details outside its own system, do not use the ward board for those patients.
- Everyone in your unit can read the ward board. Nothing on it is deleted automatically, and discharged patients stay in the unit's list. If you add something by mistake, edit it straight away or write to [email protected].
What you store is up to you and your hospital. These points are part of our Terms.
Who can use Neyaba
Neyaba is for doctors in training in Egypt. You sign in with your real name and a WhatsApp number that is yours.
Your account
You sign in with Google or with a code we email you. Keep your email account safe, because it is the key to your Neyaba account. If someone else has used your account, tell us straight away at [email protected].
Your unit
The owner and the chief run the unit. Every member can read the ward, the OR lists, the rota and the member list. Hours and fairness figures are only for the owner, the chief and the schedule co-host.
Medical information is a guide
Calculators, sheets, protocols and pathways are there to support your own judgement and your hospital's rules. They do not replace either one.
Fees, dates and steps change, so check the official source before you act. Each pathway shows when it was last checked, and it is sample content until it is marked otherwise.
Hospital reviews
A review is a private submission. Never name a person in a review. Scores show only after five residents have reviewed a hospital, and no single review is ever shown. We may remove reviews that break these rules.
Messages
All our messages go through WhatsApp to the number on your profile. The one exception is your sign-in code, which goes by email. You can turn messages off in Settings.
What you must not do
- Put patient names, national ID numbers or phone numbers into Neyaba.
- Share your account with anyone.
- Break the service, overload it, or scrape it.
Our responsibility
We aim to keep Neyaba running, but we cannot promise it is never down. The ward board is a working tool, not the official patient record. As far as the law allows, our liability is limited.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, we will say so in the app. Questions are welcome at [email protected].
